Thanksgiving

I didn't take a lot of pictures because I was cooking/ eating or drinking the whole day and night but here is what I did take. It was good food, family and even an introduction to the movie Pitch Perfect for my mom. 

Kenzie at the Ophthalmologist

Kenzie had her ophthalmology appointment today. Her eyes are doing great and as you can tell from the picture she wasn't nervous at all. Unlike last time she was actually willing to answer the questions about the pictures she saw.

Stone Soup in Ryan's Class

Ryan's class had their annual Stone Soup veggie prep day, tomorrow it will have been made into soup and the kids will have a big potluck lunch. 

Paint Night

For Amy's birthday this year we went out to a paint night. Everyone (except Leigh- who is NOT a crafter) had a great time. 

Swimming Lessons

Ryan and Audrey are taking swimming lessons together every Monday. I hope by the summer they will be swimming! 

Audrey's Field Trip to the Raleigh Little Theatre

Audrey went on her first ever elementary field trip! The whole class had a great time at the Raleigh Little Theatre. They did an acting class (movement/improv etc) then they got a tour of the theater, backstage, where the build the stage, make costumes, store props etc, do lighting. It was a great inside look at how theater works.   

One on One Date with Audrey

Last weekend I went out with just Audrey for a girls day. It was a lot of fun and she more than either of the other two really enjoy having a parents full attention. This picture is her enjoying her dessert after our lunch out.

Trick or Treating

We met up with the Swartzels for trick or treating this year, we went to a random neighborhood between our two houses. It was great, it was only about an hour and the kids ended up with way too much candy!
