Ryan Lost His First Tooth

Ryan lost his first tooth today! He is very excited about it and has declared it "Ryan Day."  The tooth was loose for a week and it gave him enough time to get over the fear of swallowing it. He already has it stashed under his pillow. Let's hope the tooth fairy is kind to him! I can't believe he lost his tooth the same week Kenzie started walking. Big week in our house!

11 Months! (And a Step!)

Kenzie turned 11 months old today! She celebrated by waiting until dad was home and taking her first step with everyone in the family watching her! I think I have about 2 weeks before she is all out walking... She is very proud of herself too. After she took her step she sat down and clapped for herself so we would all know what a good job she did.

Kenzie can stand unassisted! In fact now that's all she wants to do, she literally plays with her toys standing up. She won't even think about walking through, even with help. I know it's coming though... then watch out world!

Audrey's Walk Around the Sun (Half Birthday Celebration)

Audrey had her half birthday celebration at school last week. They have a walk around the sun celebration where Audrey walked around the sun in the classroom and I told the class about what Audrey was like each year of her life. Then I read a story to the class and we had a birthday snack (chex mix, marshmallows and M&M's). Finally we stayed to do some work with her. It was a great day and Kenzie and I were happy to get to share it with her.

New Year!

Well this year has been busy so far! Kenzie is starting to pull herself up onto everything, eat everything and talk about everything (if only we could understand her!). Ryan has been working hard in school since getting back into after break and Audrey is preparing for her half birthday tomorrow at school tomorrow (which also happens to be my birthday).
