Audrey's Halloween Class Party/ Parade

Audrey's school had a Halloween party/ parade this morning. The kids liked showing off their costumes and getting to spend some time showing their classroom to the parents. 

Ryan's Halloween Class Party

Ryan's class had a Halloween party today, they all had a great time hanging out and showing off their costumes!

Halloween Party/ Trick or Treating

We went to the Herron's annual Halloween party and then went trick or treating in their neighborhood. It was a lot of fun, especially for the kids who were sugar fueled and crazy! good times had by all! 

Audrey's Many Costumes

Audrey dressed up as something new each time she dressed up for Halloween. First was Elsa, then for her class part it was Anna (Same movie different sister), and then for trick or treating she was a unicorn and then by the end of the night she was a unicorn owl. 

Pumpkin Carving

All three kids got into pumpkin carving this year. They all cleaned out the seeds (and slime). Ryan and Audrey painted the pumpkin and then both of them had a turn with the drill to make holes for the arms and head of the star wars characters- one side of the pumpkin is the good side (Yoda) and the other is the bad side (Darth Vader). 

8 Months Old

Audrey's First Field Trip

Audrey had her first field trip the beginning of the month... I forgot to write about it. It was to Superior Gymnastics and she had a great time. A huge gym where they can run free is a perfect place to bring a huge crew of preschoolers! We will go back in a month!

Ryan's Planetarium Field Trip

Ryan had his first field trip of the year this week. His class went to the Morehead Planetarium, I was one of the drivers which gave me a good look into how he is doing with his classmates and a chance to get to know his teachers better. The class first started out going into one of the classrooms to learn about the phases of the moon, it was a great hands on lesson. We then went to see a movie in the planetarium theater. Afterwards we got to eat and play out in the UNC quad. It was a great time and I think the kids even learned a thing or two! 

Test Shots

I have started helping to assist a photographer who happens to be a good friend of mine. One of the perks of helping out is that she needs models to test out new backdrops and new styles of shooting. We are doing school portraits in a few weeks and she got a new backdrop for it so here are some of the test shots. 

7 Months and Crawling!

While we were gone Kenzie decided to learn to crawl and pull herself up to standing while holding onto furniture. She waits until dad is around to do all her tricks! I have already had to rearranged the furniture to confine her to the living room!
