Zombie Face

Kenzie loves to be silly. She tries to make jokes, she loves a good dance party and she does a killer zombie face. We have no idea how she came up with it but it's a go to move.

Heartwood Spring Fling

Heartwood had its annual Spring Fling. I took the older two kids because Kenzie is not such a huge fan of crowds and it was her nap time. Ryan played soccer the whole time so I got no pictures but Audrey stuck close to me so I got some of her. 

Audrey's Lost Tooth

At school after the dentist Audrey lost her first tooth! She was so excited. The tooth fairy might have been a little late but she came. It was a big day and according to her it makes her feel like she is six.

Dentist for all Three Kids

All the kids had their dentist appointments! It was Kenzie's first dentist appointment and considering how much she hates strangers and people touching her I had my doubts. After some negotiations with her we came to an understanding... I laid next to her for the entire appointment. With that it all ended up working out! She laid still and had ended up having healthy teeth. We have six months until we do it all again. 

Friend Birthday

My friend Crissy turns 40 Today! We had an awesome girls night in her honor including a salon/bar downtown and then BBQ afterwards! So much fun. 

Kenzie Spring Picture

This is Kenzie's spring school picture. I LOVE it. It represents exactly who she is. She was so nervous to get her picture taken- she has major stranger danger. Her sweet teacher let her hold her hand. Instead of shaking her off and making her feel even more insecure about the whole thing she stood next to her and held her hand. A picture is supposed to be a representation of who someone is, not some perfect image.  This is exactly that, my super sweet baby being taken care of by her teacher.

Raleigh Rock 'N Roll Half Marathon

Second half marathon this year! I got a finish time of 2 hours 32 minutes (which is 28 minutes faster than my Disney race!). It was a great day.. though very hilly, my fitness tracker said I went up 84 floors during the race! Also it was about 30 degrees when we started running.  It's always more fun running with a partner so I'm glad Crissy chose to celebrate her 40th birthday with a half marathon! 

Date Night

After months of planning we finally got a date night! We went to a local brewery that opened up recently. It was a lot of fun and because it was apparently a run club night there were lots of people there. This is one of the many new places moving into downtown, I'm excited for the downtown to be finished so there will be more places like this!
