Dentist Appointments

 We spent the morning at the dentist for the kids cleaning. They did amazingly! They were polite, they followed directions and they were brave. I barely had to do anything the whole time. Great appointments with no cavities!

Ryan's First Day of Kindergarten!

He was so excited for today, he woke up extra early and got ready in record time! He even went for a run around our street he had so much excitement energy. I hope the enthusiasm is still with him when I pick him up this afternoon!

Grandparent Visit

Don's parents came for a visit this last weekend. The kids really enjoyed them being here and Ryan was even able to help grandpa with a construction project. They added trellis under the back deck and a long bench along the length of the porch so there is now seating on the lawn. The second they left Ryan asked when we could go to Massachusetts to visit them. 

Quick Update

This is probably the worst I have been at keeping up with posts since starting here... it is a combination of big changes and a lazy summer. The kids are only in school 2 mornings a week, so we have a lot of downtime, and there isn't much to write about downtime. The kids ride bikes around the house (yeah I know- but there is construction on our road and it's hot out there). The big changes I will announce at the end of the week. Other then that- we have bought Ryan's kindergarten school supplies which was fun, it's easier to imagine him going because his friends have already started- our county has a lot of year round schools.
