Happy Weekend!

Muddy!

While the rainstorms today woke up the kids from nap which was a  major bummer, the kids made lemonade out of lemons and decided to "grow beanstalks" in the mud which they both were completely occupied with for an hour (in toddler time that is like 3 days). 

Mornings

Ryan's new favorite thing to do is walk dad to the car and then have a photo shoot in the front yard. The second dad pulls away he yells, "get the camera."  This from the kid who almost 100% of the time puts his hand over his face when I pull out the camera. Well they certainly have fun with it! 

The Boy

I very rarely get one good picture of Ryan, today I got a whole bunch! He was trying on his Halloween costume (minus the hat) and apparently he liked it so much he was willing to smile for the camera! 

Football Sunday!

It's Don's favorite weekend of the year because NFL football officially starts its season! The family is decked out in their Patriots gear. Next weekend we will go all out with the deep fryer and football snacks (I just didn't get it together for this one- and grandpa was in town so the kids were occupied for most of the time). The weather has cooperated wonderfully and with the monsoon yesterday the weather has cooled 15 degrees and it really feels like the beginning of the fall season. 

First Day of School

Okay I admit I dropped the ball, I meant to take pictures on the official first day of school which was last week but trying to get out the door proved to be all I could manage and the "photo shoot" had to wait. Hopefully I remember to do the last day of school at the end of the school year to have something to compare them to!
