Audrey's In-Class Field Trip

Audrey had her first in class field trip on the same day as Ryan's by the same company (okay, I was organizing field trips and this made it easier for me). Audrey's class learned all about space- they did constellations, meteors, and glow in the dark slime.

Ryan's In-Class Field Trip

Ryan had his first in class field trip of the year with High Touch High Tech where they learned all about heat. It was a great time and the students all seemed to learn a lot.

Sterling Garden Day

Audrey and I volunteered last weekend at the Sterling Garden Day, it's a fun way to volunteer at the school and the community gardens this year are being used to donate food so it was all for a good cause. Ryan ended up going into school Sunday with his friend Ella and we helped clear their classroom garden.

First Official Girl Scout Meeting for Audrey

Audrey had her first girl scout meeting, I volunteered to help out at the meeting. It was fun with crafting etc. She is really excited to have a chance to make new friends.

Boys Night Out

Ryan, Tyler and Anders had a boys night out on Friday. The moms even sat at a separate table for dinner. First we went to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner and then we went roller skating at Jelly Beans. The boys and moms loved it and it was fun to see how big and self sufficient they are becoming!

Sterling Movie Night

Last night was the 2nd annual Sterling Movie Night! We watched Big Hero 6 under the stars. It was a lot of fun and the kids loved running around with all of their friends. We didn't get home until 10pm so I'm glad that Kenzie sat this one out, maybe next year :)

3 Day Weekend Fun

Kenzie First Day of School

Well... Kenzie had her first day of school on Tuesday. This was the best first day of school picture I could catch :). The good news is she was mad at me about making her hold the piece of paper and not actually about going to school. She LOVED school and has already started talking way more at home and telling me all about her days at school.
